Christian Education Committee

“To open the eyes of our young members to the bible and the life and love of Jesus”, this is the mission of the Christian Education Committee.  The committee is made up of a small group of GPC members who come together each summer to select a theme for the coming year and then to develop the individual weekly topics.  Each member then spearheads one or two of the topics and researches it to develop a notebook for the year.  Members of the committee and other GPC members teach the weekly sessions.  The committee relies heavily on lesson plans shared on the Workshop Rotation Model website at www.rotation.org along with other Christian website for children’s bible study ideas.  Members of the committee also work each year on the Christmas Pageant that the children perform to re-enact the birth of Jesus.
