Mother's Day Concert Gladwyne Presbyterian Church To Celebrate Mother’s Day with Saturday Night Concert, Supporting Foster Care Program at Rosemont Presbyterian Children’s Village On Saturday night May 10 at 7:00 PM Gladwyne Presbyterian Church (GPC) will host a Mother’s Day Concert. A tradition started several years ago, GPC has previously presented a late Sunday afternoon early evening concert on Mother’s Day. This year the concert has been changed to Saturday evening and will benefit Rosemont Presbyterian Children’s Village Foster Care Program. The change of time allows an opportunity to musically celebrate and honor Mother’s Day without interfering with Sunday family plans. The concert vocalist will be Anne Sciolla, Assistant Adjunct Professor at the University of the Arts and a frequent soloist at the Gladwyne church. Ms. Sciolla graduated from the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts, with a Bachelor of Arts in Music in Classical Voice Performance. She has been singing for twenty years and for the past ten years at the University of the Arts School of Music. A vocal program of jazz and show tunes will be offered. The concert will benefit the Rosemont Presbyterian Children’s Village Foster Care Program. The Village provides a comprehensive range of prevention, child welfare, therapeutic, and educational services and programs to help heal the spirit of children, families, and communities in crisis. PCV nurtures the individual, encourages healthy family ties and strengthens communities of the Greater Philadelphia region. The Foster Care program provides children a temporary placement in safe and nurturing homes. All our welcome; no tickets required---a free will offering to benefit Presbyterian Children's Village will be taken.
